"China Dental Valley": Eight Years of Accumulated Development to Build the "Fourth Pole" of the Global Oral Industry

Connecting with the World through Exhibitions: From Domestic to International, Empowered by Think Tanks to Move Towards the "Fourth Pole" of the Global Oral Industry
From March 25 to 29, 2024, during the Cologne International Dental Show (IKA) in Germany, "China Dental Valley" organized over 20 resident enterprises to make a collective appearance at the exhibition. This not only demonstrated the innovative strength and technological breakthroughs of "Made in Dental Valley" in the oral care field but also enhanced its participation in the global industry.
Building extensive "dental industry partnerships" worldwide to expand the "development cake". Over the years, Ziyang City has fully utilized international oral industry exhibition platforms, organizing resident enterprises to participate in more than 1,000 exhibitions under the collective brand of "China Dental Valley". Simultaneously, it has hosted events such as the China Dental Valley Industry Development Conference and China Dental Valley Investment Promotion Conference, actively connecting with a number of target enterprises in the oral industry chain, and converting cooperation intentions into signed projects.
From Ziyang to the entire Sichuan Province, from the southwest region to the Yangtze River Delta and Pearl River Delta, and from domestic to international markets, "China Dental Valley" has left its footprint at investment promotion platforms and oral exhibitions across the globe.
After eight years of development, "China Dental Valley" has grown into the largest agglomeration area for the oral equipment and materials industry in China. Looking ahead, to move from "the largest in China" to "a leader in China and a first-class player in the world", "China Dental Valley" still needs to continue leveraging wisdom and resources from all sectors.

In April 2017, the first China Dental Valley International Summit was officially held, attracting well-known enterprises such as Beyond Dental and Align Technology to settle in "China Dental Valley". A relevant person in charge of the Ziyang High-Tech Industrial Development Zone stated that the China Dental Valley International Summit has provided a platform for domestic and foreign guests and enterprises in the oral equipment and materials industry chain to understand Ziyang and invest in Ziyang, boosting the oral equipment and materials industry in Ziyang to enter a "fast track" of development.
Through successive Industry Development Conferences, the influence of "China Dental Valley" has been continuously expanded. Since 2017, the local government has invited over 400 person-times of academicians (including Wang Songling, Zhang Zhiyuan, Zhao Yimin) and experts/professors (including Yu Guangyan, Zhou Xuedong, Zhao Zhihe), as well as more than 2,500 person-times of leaders from domestic and foreign oral enterprises, hospitals, and financial institutions. They have discussed the development of the oral industry at summits and industry development conferences, resulting in the signing of over 60 projects. The China Dental Valley Industry Development Conference has gradually become a grand event that enhances the influence and international image of "China Dental Valley", expands domestic and international markets, and promotes the exchange of oral medical culture.
In May 2023, the China Dental Valley Industry Development Conference awarded letters of appointment to 6 academicians and experts (including Zhang Zhiyuan and Wang Songling) as "Strategic Development Consultants of China Dental Valley", and to 10 professors (including Wang Lin, Vice President of the Chinese Stomatological Association) as "Expert Committee Members of China Dental Valley", providing stronger talent support for the development of "China Dental Valley".
A relevant person in charge of the Ziyang High-Tech Industrial Development Zone said that it is hoped that through the upcoming 2025 China Dental Valley Industry Development Conference, "China Dental Valley" will be further promoted, attracting more high-quality enterprises to settle in, and driving the high-quality development of the "Oral +" industry.
